Our journey to produce the draft beer experience at home began with our desire to enjoy a nitro stout from a bottle as we would at a pub. As the beer pours into the glass, the rolling cascade of gas falling out of solution produces a smooth head of creamy foam the way a stout was meant to be experienced. As scientists, we methodically set out and designed several prototypes until finally producing the Pub Pour. Our Patent Pending technology utilizes fluid dynamics to gently release dissolved gasses to achieve a rich and smooth head that enriches the aroma, flavor, and mouthfeel of both carbonated and nitrogenated beer.
Pub Pour relies upon gravity to produce the perfect tap beer experience - no batteries required! It is easy to use and even easier to clean. Simply pour your favorite beer from a can, bottle, or growler into the Pub Pour funnel and enjoy! To clean, simply rinse with water and you’re done. There are no moving parts to wear out or get dirty.
Being scientists, we performed numerous experiments to compare the performance of Pub Pour to traditional methods of pouring carbonated and nitrogenated beers from bottles or cans. Pub Pour introduces significantly less dissolved oxygen into beer than traditionally poured beer. There is up to a 41% increase in head foam stability when using Pub Pour, indicating the production of uniformly smaller bubbles that increase beer aroma and mouthfeel.
